Salt, Pickle, Smoke and Brew: Ancient Food Preservation
Preserving food and making it taste good, or even better is an art that humans unlocked a long time ago. Using Salt, vinegar, yeast and smoke we will create some long lasting and tasty foods that you can store or eat at your leisure. Meats and fish that can last years and all without the modern chemicals and preservatives our foods now contain. This is real food to last the winter with nothing else other than a cellar, cold room (without power)

- Make a ancient full mead
- Salting fish and making a salt fish stew
- Sourdough bread by the fire
- Cold smoke cheese, Fish and Ham

- Make a lacto ferment either sauerkraut or kimchi
